活発な太陽 « MAXIニュース maxi.riken.jp
面白いX 線画像がとれました！ せっかくなので科学成果ではありませんが、ニュースにしました。最近、太陽の活動が活発です。上の図はMAXI が観測した2011 年9 月24 日、1 日分のX 線全天画像です。赤が低いエネルギーのX 線、青が高いエネルギーのX 線、緑がその中間と、3色で色づけしています。図中右上の○が太陽のある位置です。太陽を直接観測すると観測装置がダメージを受けてしまうため、観測しないようにしています。それにもかかわらず、太陽の周りには低いエネルギーのX線があふれ出しているように見えますね
